(More customer reviews)My daughter was ready for a doll house that would inspire her imagination and creative play, so everyone in the family pitched in to help Santa bring this all home for Christmas 2009. We also have the Fairy Forest Lodge, fairy dolls, and all of the other furniture accessory sets, except for the Forest Bridge & River set.
This is my favorite of all the sets we have with the Fairy Forest Lodge because you get 2 rooms of furniture together, and because these pieces have inspired the most creative play in my child.
The pieces are all really cute and really well made. The doors for the oven and the fridge really open, and after 7 months of play we haven't had them come apart yet. The 3 tiny drawers in the dresser actually come completely out (they are little solid blocks of wood, not actual drawers), but I decided to glue them in place so they wouldn't get lost. I was very impressed with all of the tiny details with this set, such as the beveled edges on the dresser drawers, the opening doors on fridge and stove, and the hand-painted details.
The bed could be a bit larger, but the fairy dolls (sold separately) fit well enough. Our bed has been stepped on and the footboard came off, but was easily glued back in place. My daughter is 3 and doesn't quite know what to do with the little chimney stove, but the other pieces with this set have enough potential for creative and imaginative play that I recommend this set before any of the others. WE LOVE IT.

This 6 piece set includes a wooden oven, refrigerator, bed, wood stove and dresser. Designed for the Forest Fairy Lodge but can be used with other doll houses.
