I bought this to mount on a tounge-in-cheek award plaque for a friend that broke his refrigerator in a spectacular and infamous fashion. We thought we'd honor him on the anniversary of the event :-)
I expected that this would be a wood kit you glue together and it was. I had no idea how many parts there would be (62 pieces counting hardware). It's a very realistic refrigerator and you can tell a lot of effort went into this kit. Construction quality is first rate.
The description in the Amazon listing is currently wholly inadequate. Literally it is one word: "opens" followed by the dimensions. Maybe it will be updated by the time you read this. The parts are made of wood and plastic plus two metal drawers. The exterior is unfinished, not white like the picture in the Amazon listing. The instructions are straightforward and in clear english (thank you!). It's made by Houseworks out of Atlanta, GA. Their web site is [...].
