This set has been in Sylvanian Families (aka Calico Critters in usa), since the begining. The books are really cute, and removable from the book shelf. THere are also pictures & picture frames, chairs, couch, and a lamp. As mentioned before, you would want to have calico critter families & a house before picking this up as it has little play interest when bought as a stand alone. Quality and durability is great & items can be used with most small dolls ^_^
