(More customer reviews)We bought this dollhouse for our daughter along with the Victorian family and nursery set because they were listed as (frequently bought together). The family and nursery specify that it is a 1:12 scale (it is the most common dollhouse size). I ASSUMED this was the scale on the dollhouse, as it did not specify a scale size. This dollhouse is indeed a 1:24 scale - the other melissa and doug furniture and items WILL NOT fit in this dollhouse. It is cute, and I decided to keep it (I guess) for myself (since I would have to eat shipping both ways and pay a 15% restocking fee). This dollhouse is better for older children (maybe 10+), as it is very small and more fragile. Overall - it's pretty cute - it's just hard to find extra pieces to fit 1:24 scale. My biggest complaint is that it was not listed as 1:24 scale size - please take this into consideration and do your research on dollhouse sizes. This would be excellant for on the go or Grandma's house.
