She has played with her many, many times, and I am pleased that she is an "action" doll that requires no batteries. You insert the straw into her mouth, and squeeze her tummy to get her to sip up her drink. The only drawbacks are that she doesn't come with enough diapers and juice mix. However, you CAN use ordinary tap water, so I add a couple of drops of food coloring to a 16 oz bottle of water, and it makes it look like juice for the doll. We've had fake blueberry juice, orange juice, apple juice, strawberry juice. Much more creative for the child this way, with the same effect. As for the diapers, it's like $[...] for a pack of 5 diapers for this doll. I bought a generic package of newborn diapers ($[...] for 40), which are slighly big, but if you overlap the tapes they serve the purpose. My daughter was much happier being able to play with her over and over again, instead of just a few times before running out of supplies. My six year old has also had a good time with her, and I'm hoping that in another year or two we can use it as a potty training type doll when my youngest is ready to be trained. Overall, I think it's a great little doll.
